How to choose a co-ord set you will wear often

Look beyond a matching print: check the fit of both pieces, outfit proportions and care instructions.

A co-ord set makes an outfit easy to put together because its pieces are designed to match. The useful question is whether both pieces suit your routine. Before buying, think about where you will wear it: a working day, a family visit, travel or an occasion. That choice helps you decide on length, coverage and the amount of room you need to move.

Measure the top and lower garment separately. Compare a favourite top with the listed chest, shoulder and length measurements. For trousers, check waist, hip, rise and length where provided. Matching sets are sometimes sold in a single size, which may not suit every combination of top and trouser measurements. Contact the store if the size information only describes one piece.

Check the fabric and construction. Look for the actual composition, lining information and care label rather than assuming a texture from a photo. An elasticated waist, pockets or a fastening can change how practical the set feels during a long day. If the listing does not show these details, ask before placing an order.

Consider proportions with the shoes you already own. A long top over wide trousers creates a different silhouette from a shorter top over a straight leg. Compare the listed lengths with an outfit you know rather than using the model’s height as your only guide. You should be able to sit and raise your arms comfortably.

Try imagining each piece in another outfit. A plain trouser may work with existing shirts, while a printed top may pair with a neutral lower half. This is an option, not a requirement: choose a set you enjoy together first. Read both care labels so the pieces keep a consistent appearance after washing.

When shopping online in Bangladesh, review the selected size and colour, final delivery charge and current exchange conditions. SAFA’s shop shows the currently listed products; the contact page is the place to ask about missing measurements or set contents. Keep your order reference after checkout so you can follow its progress.
